Capristo X-Pipe Sports Exhaust (V10 Facelift)
This is the Capristo X-Pipe Sports Exhaust for the Audi R8 V10, Plus & GT, post-Facelift (any 2012 models onwards).
The sports exhaust system is a backpressure monitored exhaust system with two exhaust valves, constructed in 1.4828 (T309) stainless steel with a 19kg weight saving from the stock exhaust system.
The system comes with the Capristo control unit, which enables each exhaust system to deliver a bespoke sound. The control unit allows the owner to individually set the required back pressure levels at which valves open and close, permitting the driver to personalise the sound delivery, based on throttle input alone, independent of any remote control unit and completely automatically.
The addition of the X-Pipe section for the Audi R8 V10 makes for an even more extreme sound than previous Capristo models, with an even more aggressive, motorsport-style, higher-pitched tone during hard driving and an even deeper, throatier rumble at lower revs.
