Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe (C217) Capristo Sports Exhaust

The Capristo Sports Exhaust for the Mercedes S63 Coupe (C217) is a valve-controlled system made from high-grade 1.4828 stainless, polished steel and includes a new muffler and spare middle silencer pipes. The package also includes the CES-3 valve controller.

The programmable control unit features an illuminated display showing all functions in plain text in 3 different languages (German, English & Italian) and provides 3 basic modes that are operated by the remote control:
a) Cruise mode - the exhaust gas valves open later
b) Sports mode - the exhaust gas valves open earlier
c) Open mode - the exhaust gas valves remain open

In both the cruise mode and sport mode, you can individually program when the exhaust gas valves open. One big advantage is that the control unit recognises the driver’s style, so if you accelerate aggressively, the device identifies this by the kind of backpressure that is generated, and the exhaust gas valves open immediately. Usual acceleration results in a later opening of the exhaust gas valves.
